   Mr. Steering is married to Ruth Steering, who is the law firm’s office manager.They    have three children: David, Elizabeth and Phillip.

Serving Southern California:
Mr. Steering has been suing police officers for POLICE BRUTALITY, FALSE ARREST and MALICIOUS PROSECUTION, and has been defending bogus criminal cases of resisting arrest and assault and battery on a peace officer, for over 27 years.

 Mr. Steering is a 1977 graduate of the State University of New York at   Brockport, and a 1984 graduate of the University of Georgia School of Law, in Athens, Georgia. Mr. Steering is also a published legal scholar; "Accomplice Accusations In The Criminal Process: The Application Of Sixth Amendment Tests For The Reliability Of Hearsay Evidence To Probable Cause Determinations”,16 Rutgers Law Journal 869 (1985).

After graduating from law school, Mr. Steering was in general law practice in Athens, Georgia, for almost two years, before moving to Orange County, California, in 1986. In 1986 Mr. Steering became a member of the State Bar of California. Since that time, he has been engaged in several areas of law practice, including:
